Raj Mistri vs Full-Service Renovation Contractor
Both are valid choices. The right one depends on the size of your job and how much coordination you want to do yourself.

When a raj mistri alone is enough
Small, single-trade jobs – a wall repair, a plaster patch, a small partition or replacing a few tiles. You buy material and supervise; the mason does the work.
When a contractor makes more sense
Jobs that involve several trades – civil, plumbing, tiles, carpentry, ceiling and paint. Someone has to sequence them, make sure each finishes properly before the next starts, and take responsibility for the result.
What you manage yourself with separate workers
Booking each trade, timing them, buying materials, checking quality and sorting out disputes when one trade blames another for a problem.
Questions to ask anyone you hire
Who will be on site daily? How are materials and quantities decided? What is included and what is extra? How are payments linked to work? What happens if a defect shows up later?
We do both
You can book only a mason for civil work, or the full renovation.
