Modular Kitchen Planning Guide
The best kitchens are planned around how you cook, not around a catalogue picture.

Start with the work triangle
Sink, stove and fridge should be close enough to move between easily but not crowded together. In straight kitchens, keep a clear counter between sink and hob for cutting and prep.
Plan storage by use
Drawers near the hob for daily utensils, a plate rack near the sink, tall unit for groceries, and loft for rarely used items. Corners need a proper corner unit or they become dead space.
Material near water
The sink cabinet fails first in most kitchens. Use water-resistant board here and seal all edges.
Fix appliances early
Chimney, hob, microwave, oven, purifier and fridge sizes decide cabinet dimensions and electrical points.
Civil work comes first
If the platform, sink position or wall tiles need changing, do it before cabinets. See tile work.
